Geoprobe Systems® hires engineers to design, create, and integrate equipment to automate manufacturing processes. The goal is to make the processes used in machining, fabricating, and assembling our products the most cost effective and efficient in the world. Individuals need a good understanding of manufacturing processes, and should be self-motivated, hard-working, and able to work individually or as a part of a team. They must also desire to work with programming, controls, and automation. Experience with Solid Modeling CAD and CAM software is required. Machine shop and welding/fabrication experience is preferred. Degree required: Industrial Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineer.
Mechanical Engineer
Primary responsibility for this position is focused on the design and development of hydraulic powered direct-push machines and accessories. Our engineers are hands on individuals who strive to create world-class equipment for the environmental and geotechnical industries. Our employees have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, and will be self-motivated, hard working and able to work individually or as a part of a team.At Geoprobe® Systems new product development typically entails a mix of theoretical and practical design, hands on field-testing, and working side-by-side with our customers. We have an experienced and motivated design staff that loves to create.
Our electrical engineers focus on the design and development of electromechanical controls for direct push machines. Experience in electrohydraulic controls is a plus, but not a requirement. Individuals are self-motivated, and able to work with engineers of other disciplines.
